Ultra Sound
Ultrasound imaging involves exposing a part of the body to high frequency sound waves to produce echoes that form images of the tissues and organs on a computer screen (sonogram). This is noninvasive. It is based on non-ionizing radiation, so it does not have the risk as x-rays or other types of imaging systems.
